Atlas and Orion began with a single suitcase and a deep love for craftsmanship. On a winding journey through Morocco’s ancient medinas, bustling souks, and sun-drenched villages, founder Amanda Novak discovered more than just beautiful objects—she found stories woven into every rug, carved into every tray, and painted onto every mirror.
Inspired by the artisans who carry centuries of tradition in their hands, Amanda founded Atlas and Orion in 2025 to bring their work to homes across the United States. Based in Colleyville, Texas, her company is a bridge between cultures—connecting the timeless beauty of Moroccan design with modern, intentional living.

Our name reflects our dual inspiration: the grounded strength of the Atlas Mountains and the celestial wonder of Orion. It’s a metaphor for our mission—to celebrate the earthly beauty of handmade goods while reaching for something timeless and universal.

My offerings extend beyond imported Moroccan craftsmanship; I also specialize in ice-dyed clothing and home decor, reflecting my continued commitment to small-batched sustainable dyeing practices.
Amanda's previous brand, FREE RAIN SPLY, was founded in 2019 when she discovered her love for blending modern and traditional dyeing practices. As Atlas and Orion continues to grow, my mission remains clear: to provide my clients with high-quality, thoughtfully curated products that inspire a love for travel and a respect for the craftsmanship behind each item.
