Boucherouite rugs are the Moroccan equivalent to rag rugs, using upcycled textiles to make a durable, colorful rug that is study enough to stand up to everyday use and washing as needed. This rug reminds me of a seaside town with it's dark green and sea green diamonds accented with navy blue stripes.
Like most vintage rugs, it's not exactly square, but that adds to the charm.
